So far, I can say that the only ones that worked were AOE2 and 3 (after MUCH toil). AOM and AOE1 (along with any games using the generic AOE1 setup, it's common in old Microsoft games), just don't work. At all, no success. If anyone comes up with some kind of miracle cure, I'd be glad to know. I used this site for AOE2, in case anyone wants to know. It's called Gamepark.eu, just google it. AOE3 worked with ip changer and such. I have been doing this kind of thing for all the games in the “Age” series.

My friend couldn't connect to my network. And then when he hosted it with same directions / stuff as me, i could connect to his network. How does this work?
